Boulogne Day Trip - Including Aquarium Entry

Sit back, relax, and let us whisk you away to the French coast for a day of exploration, sightseeing, and shopping. Here’s what’s in store:

Discover Nausicaá – Europe’s Largest Aquarium
Our first stop is right outside Nausicaá, an awe-inspiring marine center home to thousands of sea creatures. Step into the giant shark tank, experience the ocean tunnel, and witness majestic manta rays, playful penguins, and even a breathtaking recreation of the high seas. Whether you're fascinated by coral reefs or want to get up close with jellyfish, this is an unforgettable experience for all ages! (Entry optional)

Explore Boulogne-sur-Mer’s Historic Charm
Beyond the aquarium, Boulogne is bursting with character! Wander the charming Old Town, surrounded by medieval walls, and visit the stunning Basilica of Notre-Dame, home to a magnificent dome and hidden crypt. Stroll the lively harbor or relax with a coffee in a traditional French café. And, of course, don’t miss a visit to the local patisseries for fresh baguettes and pastries!

Relax on the Beach
Boulogne’s sandy beaches offer the perfect spot to unwind. Take a refreshing stroll along the promenade, dip your toes in the sea, or simply enjoy the fresh coastal air.

Afternoon Shopping at Auchan Hypermarket
Before we head home, you’ll have the option to visit Auchan, one of France’s biggest hypermarkets, where you can stock up on French wines, cheeses, chocolates, and other delicious treats at great prices!

• a GHIC is highly recommended 

• travel will be on Le Shuttle 

• trip is subject to minimum booking numbers 

Pick ups: 

To make your journey smoother, we’ve streamlined our pick-up route:

🚍 Coach 1: Appledore, Tenterden & Ashford
🚍 Coach 2: Biddenden, Headcorn, Maidstone & Teston

The two coaches will meet in Ashford and we will quickly all merge onto one coach to go over to France. On the way home, there will be an Ashford drop off if anyone wishes to get off there, and then we will drop off in Teston and work our way back to Tenterden and Appledore. 

No Wateringbury pick up available for this trip - all other usual picks ups are available. 

We will arrive back to Teston at 2030 and Tenterden at 2130.
